Why choose me, Sally Anderson, to be your executive leadership coach?
I have extensive experience of working in senior leadership roles and leading and delivering national health programmes. These roles have given me comprehensive experience of leading programmes and projects, working with teams and senior leaders, executives and decision makers, alongside the challenges and joys associated with doing a good job and achieving outcomes whilst raising a family and working hard to maintain a work life balance.
I have coached individuals from a wide range of sectors and organisations including execs and senior leaders in the NHS, local government, the pharmaceutical industry, company directors, new startups and the charitable sector.
I have been in and around boards all my working life, including currently being a Trustee of a large charity. I am an experienced public speaker, talking at conferences and events, leading webinars, presentations and workshops.
I am a fully qualified and accredited leadership coach
I am an EMCC (European Mentoring & Coaching Council) accredited coach, and my qualification is ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited. Both of these organisations are associated as gold standard for professionalism and ethical coaching. I am also educated to Masters level, and have nationally recognised qualifications in Programme, Project Management and Leadership. I have worked for many years with many teams and individuals to optimise their own performance and achieve their goals.
I am committed to giving each of my clients a fully personalised package based on their needs and circumstances. I only work with a select few clients, so I can provide the best service and you can enjoy a positive coaching experience. There will be no hard sell, as to be fully beneficial coaching has got to be right for you, with the right coach at the right time.
Who is Sally?
I am a busy, motivated person who loves her Labrador Betsy, Rose wine (preferably from Provence) and her husband and sons – not necessarily in that order. I have always enjoyed the challenge of work, doing a great job and aspiring for a good work life balance but not compromised on ambition and achievements. I have always described myself as being ‘quietly driven’.
My journey as a coach began when I turned to coaching to navigate through a particularly difficult period in my own life. Once I was back on track and realised just how transformative coaching can be, I decided to take my expertise from my career as a senior leader and member of various Boards and become a coach to help others get to where they want to be.
I have worked with a wide range of people, to support them with their leadership and executive journeys and achievements, I have also had the pleasure of working with people who just want to focus on achieving changes in their personal lives. Often their decision to be coached is an entirely independent one and many have appreciated working with me in a safe space not driven by organisational expectations or part of a performance plan, but purely by their own desire for change and to optimise their lives and potential.
My values are very important to me, and they guide the way I think and work:
- Integrity & honesty
- Diligence & tenacity
- Fairness and equality
Here are some of the things that people have said after working with me:
Working with Sally was really valuable. I felt listened to and challenged to reflect and think differently. It was incredibly useful to work together to organise my thoughts and feelings about some forthcoming big changes into actionable goals that were meaningful to me. It was a very positive experience, thank you!
I highly recommend Sally’s coaching, knowing that we have the regular sessions keeps me on track and the session summaries are really helpful to keep me to task. It hasn’t been easy, but I have found that she’s really challenged my thinking in some areas and pushed me in the areas I am least confident and interested in but are/will be essential to develop my business. Having always had a full-time job that pays a regular salary the coaching has really helped me to take that next step as an independent! Thank you Sally!
I started coaching with Sally after starting a new job in a new sector at the age of 49, feeling unsure and low in confidence. Working with Sally was fantastic. We built up a great rapport and she was excellent at helping me recognise my own abilities, rebuild my confidence, and focus on the future with renewed energy. I loved each session and can highly recommend her as a coach.
